STORY CONTINUED from LOTUS Initiative – DIRECTORY:
… its symbolism of evolution from something that is pure mud into something pristine and beautiful.
It resonated with my experience of torture and it helped reinforce that there is meaning and overcoming even in the muddiest of experiences and despite not knowing what the future holds, that there is beauty on the other side. As Corrie Ten Boom said, “Never be afraid to trust an unknown future to a known God.” I had printed a picture of a lotus blossom and posted it up on my wall. Now, years later, when Reverand Dr. Nancy Ash told me the name of the initiative to help targeted individuals would be LOTUS, I had an immediate connection to it. Hopefully, our collective efforts in this initiative will help bring people out of the mud and into the beauty that awaits on the other side of the mud.
Further, I had purchased Dr. Norma Milanovich’s book, The Light Shall Set You Free, one year ago and just this past month I picked it up again to re-read it. In her book she quotes Buddha, “Hatred does not cease by hatred at any time; hatred ceases by love.”
She talks about the Law of Perpetual Transmutation of Energy which uses higher frequencies to transmute lower ones: “It works when one chooses to transform the darkness into Light and when one has a desire to change surrounding conditions into a higher form of existence.” Further… “I offer this law to the Children of Light of the world to use as their weapon to embrace the darkness and bring it into the Light.” When faced with advanced weapons of mass destruction and darkness, and such egregious crimes against humanity, our weapon is the Light which will transmute the darkness and all weapons created from that darkness.”
